Responsibilities

We seek a dynamic Sales Specialist to join our team at a leading Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) manufacturer. The role involves driving sales growth through opportunity identification, customer relationship management, and delivering tailored energy storage solutions. A strong understanding of BESS technology, market trends, and customer needs, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills, is essential.

The main accountabilities include:

  1. Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies, identify new business opportunities (utility-scale, C&I, microgrid), and meet sales targets.
  2. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships, understand customer needs, and ensure satisfaction.
  3. Technical and Market Expertise: Stay updated on BESS technology, work with technical teams, and deliver product presentations.
  4. Proposal Development and Negotiation: Prepare proposals, lead contract negotiations, and collaborate with legal, finance, and engineering teams.
  5. Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams, and provide market feedback.
  6. Reporting and Analysis: Track sales metrics, analyze market data, and maintain CRM data.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Renewable Energy, or related fields.
  • 3–5 years of sales experience in energy storage, renewable energy, or power systems sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of BESS technology.
  • Proven sales cycle management and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office.
Skills
  • Knowledge of grid-scale and behind-the-meter energy storage applications.
  • Experience with renewable energy project financing or sales.
  • Familiarity with energy policies and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
