Responsibilities
We seek a dynamic Sales Specialist to join our team at a leading Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) manufacturer. The role involves driving sales growth by identifying opportunities, managing customer relationships, and delivering tailored energy storage solutions. A strong understanding of BESS technology, market trends, and customer needs, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills, is essential.
Main accountabilities include:
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understand client needs, and ensure satisfaction.
- Technical and Market Expertise: Stay updated on BESS technology, work with technical teams, and deliver product presentations.
- Proposal Development and Negotiation: Prepare proposals, lead negotiations, and collaborate with legal, finance, and engineering teams.
- Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams, and provide market feedback.
- Reporting and Analysis: Track performance, analyze market data, and maintain CRM data.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- 3–5 years of sales experience in energy storage, renewable energy, or power systems sectors.
- Strong understanding of BESS technology.
- Proven sales cycle management and contract negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office.
Skills
- Knowledge of grid-scale and behind-the-meter energy storage applications.
- Experience with renewable energy project financing or sales.
- Familiarity with energy policies, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
