Responsibilities

We seek a results-driven Sales Specialist to join our team at a leading Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) manufacturer. The role involves driving sales, managing customer relationships, and delivering customized energy storage solutions. A strong understanding of BESS technology, market trends, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Main accountabilities include:

  1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet market objectives.
    • Identify and pursue new opportunities in utility-scale projects, C&I applications, and microgrids.
    • Achieve sales targets through proactive engagement and pipeline management.
  2. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
    • Understand client needs and present tailored solutions.
    • Provide excellent service to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  3. Technical and Market Expertise:
    • Stay updated on BESS technology, market trends, and regulations.
    • Collaborate with technical teams on solution design and proposals.
    • Present products effectively to clients.
  4. Proposal Development and Negotiation:
    • Prepare detailed proposals and lead contract negotiations.
    • Work with legal, finance, and engineering teams to finalize agreements.
  5. Internal Collaboration:
    • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams.
    • Provide market feedback to improve products.
    • Participate in cross-functional meetings.
  6. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Track sales metrics and prepare reports.
    • Analyze market data for trends and opportunities.
    • Maintain CRM data accuracy.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in energy storage, renewable energy, or power systems.
  • Strong knowledge of BESS technology, including batteries, inverters, and power systems.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales and negotiate contracts.
  • Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office.
Skills
