Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Lodi, Lombardy, Italy invites a Regional Supplier Quality Engineer focused on PPAP to join our engineering and procurement teams. You will build strong supplier relationships, lead PPAP readiness, and drive quality improvements for high voltage products across Europe.

Ideally you hold an engineering degree, have hands-on QA experience, and fluent Italian and English. Significant travel (about 40%) is required to support supplier visits and audits while upholding our

Qualifications

Solid experience in supplier quality management with audits or assessments.
Familiarity with PPAP and supplier qualification processes.
Understanding of procurement and supply chain in manufacturing.
Knowledge of governance, sustainability, and Supplier Code of Conduct.
Ability to lead cross-functional issue resolution with suppliers.

Responsibilities

Support PPAP part qualifications and ensure supplier adherence to Hitachi requirements.
Develop standards to support engineering and product care for new delivery and test instructions.
Conduct supplier assessments and audits, ensure timely closure of non-conformances.
Monitor supplier performance with KPIs and drive quality improvements.
Lead issue resolution for quality, late deliveries, and non-conforming products.
Travel regularly to supplier sites (~40%) in Italy and Europe to drive improvements.
