Job Description

In this role, you will generate sales and establish long-term partnerships with Pharma customers in the Italian market. You will represent Syntegon Pharma in Italy and contribute to market development and growth.

  1. You will conduct customer visits within the assigned region to generate leads and opportunities, and participate in trade fairs and pharmaceutical exhibitions, both regional and international.
  2. Develop a good technical knowledge of our portfolio to effectively participate in customer meetings and technical discussions with plants.
  3. Perform market analysis to identify potential new customers and application areas, monitor market trends and competitors within the region.
  4. Create sales strategies to meet targets and profit goals, and develop strategies in coordination with the business units.
  5. Ensure customer satisfaction to promote repeat orders.
  6. Coordinate activities between the client and manufacturing sites.
  7. Prepare timely reports on sales activities and maintain CRM and project lists.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record with over 5 years of sales success, preferably within machinery sectors such as pharma processing and packaging.
  • Well-connected and experienced in sales within the industry.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 50% of the time.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and customer management skills.
  • Technical understanding with effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in customer presentations, meetings, and familiarity with sales tools.
