A leading company in industrial solutions is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Pharma/BioPharma sector in Pavia, Italy. The role involves developing solutions for clients, achieving sales quotas, and maintaining strong relationships with customers. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and significant sales experience in the Pharma/BioPharma field, demonstrating the ability to engage with clients and teams effectively.

The Regional Sales Manager-Pharma / BioPharma is expected to lead sales efforts within a specified region by developing solutions for our clientele within the Pharma / BioPharma industry. Regional Sales Managers must educate potential customers on our products, services, and propose solutions for the customers’ process. This involves a thorough understanding of our clients and their needs as well as our products, our capabilities, and our potential solutions. The Regional Sales Manager must use available resources to fulfill clients’ and company expectations, i.e. internal teamwork, communications, follow-up, data tracking.

E SSENTIAL Functions and Responsibilities :

  • Performing key sales responsibilities :

Building a funnel of opportunities, a hunter mentality

  • Closing business
  • Achieving agreed to quota
  • Develops and maintains an on-going relationship with Company clients
  • Understand and develop viable strategies to help the client manufacture their product, as it relates to our products / services and continued use of our products / services
  • Communicates with clients on a regular basis to ensure the strategies are working and to inform clients of enhanced or new products and services
  • Uses all internal resources to ensure clients are satisfied with our products and service, e.g.field applications support, business development, product management,, inside sales, marketing, engineering, etc.
  • Expedites resolutions when complaints, concerns, or issues arise
  • Prepares and conducts presentations for our clients
  • Prepares reports and updates for our management team on a regular basis
  • Provides feedback from the customer to our internal team(s) as well as propose ideas to enhance our products and services
  • Identifies new, potential clients and begins the relationship process
  • Attends tradeshows and other promotional events as required
  • Travels within assigned region on a regular basis
  • Updates SalesForce database with all data on a frequent basis, ensuring compliance to all processes and initiatives
  • Maintains professionalism and ethical standards at all times

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business or Technical discipline; Chemistry, Engineering, or Pharmaceuticals / Biotechnology degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in Pharma / BioPharma Sales with proven sales achievements
  • Demonstrated ability for developing new business with new and existing customers
  • Able to Travel 50% of the time
  • Demonstrated knowledge of presentation software and report writing
  • Demonstrated presentation, and oratory skills
