Our client is a global industrial equipment manufacturer specializing in materials processing machinery and mobile elevating work platforms. We are seeking a REGIONAL SALES MANAGER FOR FRANCE AND NORTH & CENTRAL AFRICA.

The primary focus for this role is to support the execution of a successful distribution strategy worldwide and to contribute significantly to the development of new product roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify key new markets and distribution opportunities
  2. Support new distribution channels, establish professional partnerships, and manage all aspects of distribution
  3. Set aggressive turnaround targets and develop plans to improve underperforming regions
  4. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers and dealer networks
  5. Create and implement short- and long-term actions to increase sales volume and margins through effective dealer management
  6. Develop business plans for each dealer and monitor progress against these plans
  7. Oversee dealer sales targets and forecasts
  8. Monitor competitor activities and pricing strategies
  9. Support an effective Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) forecast process
  10. Travel frequently to meet distribution partners and develop new business opportunities

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  1. Approximately 5 years of experience as an Export Manager
  2. Background in mobile heavy equipment is preferred
  3. Proven ability to understand market requirements and analyze competitor landscapes
  4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  5. Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a strong advantage
  6. Knowledge of French is a plus
  7. Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 70%) globally
