Carli PR is a boutique public relations firm specializing in hospitality, travel, and restaurant PR. Operating out of New York City, the firm collaborates with affiliate partners in both the Palm Beach and NYC markets.

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Regional Public Relations freelancer in New York City. Though this is a remote role, we do need this contractor to be located in the New York metro area. The contractor will be responsible for creating and distributing media material, developing pitches and pitch concepts, securing and coordinating influencer opportunities, supporting the development of strategic communications, managing and coordinating media relations, and driving effective public relations campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include engaging with media, crafting engaging communication materials, and managing client accounts (i.e., client correspondence, scheduling meetings, creating agendas and recaps for client calls, creating performance reports, etc.)

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience pitching and corresponding with media
• Experience in hospitality PR
• Experience in strategic communications
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with media and other stakeholders
• Highly organized
• Experience in media list building and trend/media researching
• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
• Understanding of affiliate marketing a major plus
