Offerta

The Regional Operations Manager is the focal point on matters concerning operations, personnel, daily reporting and other general operational matters. To ensure that the Operations Department provides efficient implementation and monitoring of all commercial contracts, time charters and spot voyages performed by vessels employed by the Company so that the highest possible trading result is achieved and in line with the company Vision, Mission and Core Values and Company\'s Policies.

Responsibilities

• Regional Operations Manager is to keep the SBU GM updated on daily routine operational matters and escalate to the Head of Operations when necessary
• Daily liaison and supervision of operational activities of the ships under the control of the SBU
• Monitoring operational expenses
• Ensure the company ships masters are informed of new or amended rules and regulations, codes and guidelines, classification society, Flag state or Port state regulations
• Liaison with clients on operational matters and dealing with customer complaints
• Ensure adequate resources are provided to the company ships
• Liaison with the company\'s manning and port agents, as required
• Arranging medical treatment for ships\' staff, as required
• Reviewing staff performance reports
• Acting as an intermediary in disciplinary matters
• Participation in management review meetings
• Involved in Officers/Ratings in performance reviews after each contract
• Maintaining appropriate records of the functions above as required by the company\'s procedures

Competenze ed esperienza

Qualifications

• Master\'s Certificate of Competency preferred
• Knowledge of offshore operations
• Knowledge, skills and abilities
• Excellent reporting and presentation skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and local language(s) as required
• Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and voyage administration system
• Ability to perform ad-hoc tasks without supervision
