Regional Medical Science Liaison

Oncology / Breast Cancer

• Client: Biotech, Oncology (Precision Medicine)
• Reports to: Field Manager at Amplity Health
• Primary Territory: Italy
• Location: Italy

Responsibilities

Our client, a US-based biopharmaceutical company dedicated to research and development, seeks a scientifically strong Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience. The MSL will be part of a global team, providing clinical, scientific, and educational support to healthcare professionals at research sites and key opinion leaders in the oncology community, especially breast cancer.

Accountabilities

• Deliver education on client’s products and protocols to physicians and support staff to optimize study performance
• Provide accurate scientific information about study drugs and pipeline compounds
• Respond to medical inquiries from HCPs and study teams
• Stay updated with clinical knowledge and published data
• Support education at investigator meetings and site initiation visits
• Develop relationships with PIs and study physicians, ensuring efficient management of site requests
• Act as a scientific expert for study sites and CROs, ensuring alignment and study performance monitoring
• Support ongoing and future clinical trials, including site visits and identifying new trial centers
• Respond to investigator-sponsored research requests
• Enhance client’s professional image across the territory

Requirements

Education: Physician, Pharmacist, PhD, MSc or equivalent; fluent in English and local language

Experience: Minimum 5 years in pharmaceutical industry, MSL experience, oncology expertise (breast cancer preferred), experience managing KOLs

Skills: Excellent communication, relationship-building, autonomous working, project management, proficiency in Microsoft Office

Knowledge: GXP regulations, GCP, ICH guidelines, national codes

Travel: Willingness to travel internationally, valid driver’s license
