Regional Market Access Manager

What you will do

This role focuses on maximizing market access for products in the region, establishing long-term relationships with regional stakeholders, and serving as the primary contact for Market Access within the local team.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and anticipate changes in the regional healthcare environment and their implications for the company’s portfolio.
  • Engage key regional stakeholders, building and managing strong long-term relationships.
  • Identify partnership opportunities with regional stakeholders and leverage best practices from other regions.
  • Ensure optimal regional access and funding for the company's portfolio.
  • Develop and implement a regional access plan aligned with central market access strategy and franchise operating plans.
  • Contribute to increasing company knowledge on regional and account access scenarios, risks, and opportunities.
  • Execute access plans as part of a coordinated cross-functional in-field team, including commercial and medical roles.
  • Provide recommendations to other functions regarding the impact of regional and account access / funding strategies.
  • Oversee tenders in central buying organizations and support the tender office in understanding regional tender dynamics.
  • Share best practices with other RAMs.
  • Provide strategic leadership for the territory, driving regional access strategy and overseeing account access.

  • University Degree in Life Sciences / Health (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology)
  • Significant experience in Value & Access activities
  • Experience working with hospital pharmacists, general directors, and medical directors
  • Proven track record of introducing new products in hospitals
  • Experience negotiating drug access and conditions with regional decision-makers and healthcare professionals
  • Thorough knowledge of regional decision makers
  • Proficiency in scientific and pharmacoeconomic presentations
  • Track record of achieving objectives
  • Strategic thinking to manage complex portfolios and maximize account returns
  • Ability to think long-term and short-term
  • Strong analytical skills for scenario profitability assessment
  • Creativity and alternative exploration capacity
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for complex, cross-functional interactions
  • Ability to manage complex negotiations
  • Objective / results-oriented and customer-focused
  • Based in Puglia region
