Regional Market Access Manager

What you will do

In this role, you will maximize market access for products in the region, establish long-term relationships with regional stakeholders, and be the single point of contact for Market Access within the local team.

Responsibilities
  • Continuously assess and anticipate changes in the regional healthcare environment and implications for the company portfolio.
  • Engage key regional stakeholders, building and managing strong long-term institutional relationships.
  • Identify opportunities for partnership with regional stakeholders and leverage best practices from covered regions.
  • Ensure optimal regional access and funding for the company portfolio.
  • Develop and execute a regional access plan aligned with central market access strategy and franchise operating plans.
  • Contribute to increasing company knowledge on regional and account access scenarios, risks, and opportunities.
  • Execute access plans as part of a coordinated cross-functional in-field team with commercial and medical roles.
  • Provide recommendations to other functions regarding regional and account access/funding impacts.
  • Oversee tenders in central buying organizations and support the tender office in understanding regional tender dynamics.
  • Share best practices with other RAMs.
  • Take strategic leadership for the reference territory, driving regional access strategy and overseeing account access.
What we expect of you

  • University Degree in Life Sciences/Health discipline (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology).
  • Strong experience in Value & Access activities.
  • Experience working with hospital pharmacists, hospital general directors, and medical directors.
  • Proven track record of introducing new products in hospitals.
  • Experience negotiating drug access and conditions with regional decision-makers, hospital pharmacists, and physicians.
  • Thorough knowledge of key decision makers in the area.
  • Proficiency in scientific and pharmacoeconomic presentations.
  • Track record of working with objectives and achieving them.
  • Project management skills.
  • Strategic thinking to manage complex portfolios and maximize account returns.
  • Ability to think long-term and short-term.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess profitability scenarios.
  • Creativity and capacity to explore alternative solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for complex, cross-functional interactions.
  • Ability to manage complex negotiations.
  • Objective/results and customer-oriented approach.
  • Based in Puglia region.
