Job Scope
The Regional Market Access Manager is responsible for developing and executing market access strategies for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) products within a defined geographical area. This role ensures regional reimbursement and inclusion of IVD tests, working closely with both internal stakeholders and external institutional bodies to support the economic sustainability and adoption of the company's diagnostic innovation portfolio.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop and implement tailored market access strategies for IVD products in the assigned region.
* Monitor regional dynamics concerning reimbursement, DRG tariffs, tenders, and healthcare policies.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, and Marketing teams to support product launches and market sustainability.
* Contribute to design and adopt specific products in related PDTA paths
* Build and maintain strong relationships with regional stakeholders (Health Authorities, Regional HTA bodies, payers, decision-makers) to ensure product access and uptake.
* Prepare regional value dossiers and other evidence-based materials to support the clinical, operational and economic value of diagnostic solutions.
* Identify opportunities and risks related to regional healthcare policies and propose corrective actions where needed.
* Collect market insights and institutional feedback to guide and optimize corporate strategy
Education, Experience, and Qualifications
Education:
* Degree in a scientific field (e.g., Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Medicine) or in health economics/legal studies (e.g., Health Economics, Political Science, Law).
* Postgraduate education (e.g., Master's) in Market Access, Health Economics or HTA is preferred.
Experience:
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Market Access, Public Affairs, HTA, or Regulatory Affairs within the healthcare or diagnostics sector.
* Solid understanding of regional reimbursement and access mechanisms (specific to the country or region).
* Prior experience in In Vitro Diagnostics is highly preferred.
Skills:
* Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with institutional stakeholders.
* Analytical mindset and ability to interpret regulatory and economic environments.
* Results-oriented, proactive, and capable of working within cross-functional teams.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
