Regional Manufacturing Excellence Manager

As part of the Supply Chain Excellence team in the MSC department, the Senior Supply Chain Excellence Manager is responsible for coaching leadership teams in the plants within his/her scope, to enable deployment of the industrial excellence program (IL6S).

How you will contribute

Your role and responsibilities include:

• Improving site KPIs and performance through fostering a culture of continuous improvement from operators to management.
• Leading the implementation of the Mondelez Manufacturing Excellence (IL6S) program step by step.
• Ensuring a coherent site masterplan aligned with business needs.
• Leading real-world problem-solving sessions to address breakdowns, equipment, and process losses; developing standards and work processes to prevent failures.
• Maintaining healthy cost governance and budget management, supporting identification of cost improvement projects.
• Encouraging replication by conducting on-site workshops to set an example for others.
• Conducting IL6S phase audits at MDLZ plants in Europe (co-assessor or lead assessor).
• Collaborating with global centers of excellence, plant management teams, and key decision-makers in an international environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Operational and on-field experience is essential.
• Servant leadership and strong team spirit.
• Experience in change management processes.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to influence others.
• Ability to teach and develop talents.
• Results-oriented with the capacity to manage ambiguous situations.
• Experience in continuous improvement, engineering/projects, and production.
• An engineering degree plus approximately 15 years of manufacturing experience focused on production, engineering/projects, and continuous improvement, preferably in the food industry.
• At least 5 years of experience in implementing industrial excellence programs (e.g., TPM, WCM, IWS).
• Fluent in English and Italian.
