As a CO+I Regional IT Lifecycle Program Manager - Data Bearing Devices for Data Bearing Device Programs, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Several years of program management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This role requires passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong analytic thinking and solution development skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with forecasting and statistical concepts
  • Proven ability to drive positive business results through cross-group collaboration
  • Experience in executive-level communication (written and verbal)
  • Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups at all levels
  • Capability to deliver results in an ambiguous and evolving environment
Responsibilities

As a Regional IT Lifecycle Program Manager - Data Bearing Devices, your objectives include:

  • Promoting a culture of safety, security, and compliance in datacenter operations
  • Forecasting, managing, and reporting Data Bearing Device Destruction (DBD) OPEX and CAPEX budgets to leadership and finance
  • Developing and managing DBD management and destruction procedures
  • Creating and tracking DBD metrics for leadership and Data Center Operations teams
  • Defining and managing DBD hardware deployments to improve destruction processes and chain of custody
  • Operationalizing new hardware and tools for DBD destruction and custody improvements
  • Partnering with CO+I Engineering to define technical requirements and process enhancements for Data Bearing Devices
  • Collaborating with DC Operations, Physical Security, EHS, and Assurance teams to support DBD processes and changes
  • Living and coaching the One Microsoft culture, leading through change with clarity, energy, and success
