Even though we are a small company with fewer than 1,000 colleagues, we work in over 70 countries and require an HR function that thinks and acts globally. We're looking for three regional leads, all reporting to our Global Head of People. You will lead the HR teams in the Americas, EMEA, or APAC regions to provide compliant HR operations, advise on HR issues across the employee lifecycle, and partner with senior leadership. You should have an analytical approach, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to interpret data trends.

What your day will look like
  • Deliver precise, compliant HR operations efficiently and accurately
  • Manage talent planning, succession, assessments, and HR processes to drive high performance
  • Collaborate with senior managers on performance management, organizational design, employee engagement, and workforce planning
  • Coach and advise managers on employee relations issues across multiple countries
  • Support managers with training and development programs
  • Establish trusted partnerships with the business using your HR expertise and business acumen
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
  • Lead global HR projects critical to the business
  • Represent Canonical's HR practices at company events
What we are looking for in you
  • Degree qualified with a professional HR qualification (CIPD, SHRM, etc.)
  • Experience leading HR initiatives in a major region within a tech company (Americas, EMEA, or APAC)
  • Experience working in a remote-first organization
  • Proven experience in senior-level international HR partnerships
  • Ability to use data for decision-making
  • Effective prioritization, time management, and ability to work under pressure
  • Self-motivated, organized, confident, results-oriented
  • Focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Fluent in business English (written and spoken)
