Descrizione del lavoro

Even though we are a small company with fewer than 1,000 colleagues, we work in over 70 countries and require an HR function that thinks and acts globally. We're looking for three regional leads, all reporting to our Global Head of People. You will lead the HR teams for the Americas, EMEA, or APAC regions, providing compliant HR operations, advising on HR issues across the employee lifecycle, and partnering with senior leadership in your region. An analytical approach, keen eye for detail, and the ability to interpret data trends are essential.

What your day will look like
  1. Deliver precise, compliant HR operations promptly with high accuracy.
  2. Be accountable for talent planning, succession, assessments, and HR processes that foster high performance.
  3. Collaborate with senior managers on performance management, organizational design, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
  4. Coach and advise managers on employee relations issues across multiple countries.
  5. Support managers in delivering training and development programs.
  6. Establish trusted partnerships with the business through HR expertise, energy, and business acumen.
  7. Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  8. Lead global HR-related projects critical to the business.
  9. Present Canonical’s HR practices at company events.
What we are looking for in you
  1. Degree qualified with a professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, etc.).
  2. Experience leading HR initiatives in a major region within a technology company (Americas, EMEA, or APAC).
  3. Experience working in a remote-first organization.
  4. Proven experience in international HR partnerships at a senior level.
  5. Ability to use data for informed decision-making.
  6. Strong prioritization, time management, and ability to work under pressure.
  7. Self-motivated, organized, confident, and results-oriented.
  8. Focus on accuracy and detail.
  9. Fluent in business English, both written and spoken.
