Position Overview

The Regional HR Director (m/f) – Italy, Spain & France will lead and coordinate the Human Resources function across these three countries. Working closely with Country Directors and the Group HR Department, the role combines strategic HR leadership with strong operational involvement, particularly in labor relations, HR development, and the day-to-day support of operational managers.

The HR Director will be a key contributor to the Group’s transformation and a trusted advisor to leadership and line managers, ensuring alignment with Group policies while adapting to each country’s context.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational HR Leadership

  • Translate Group HR strategy into regional HR action plans in line with local needs and legislation.
  • Advise and support Country Directors and operational leaders on all HR topics, from people strategy to individual cases.
  • Lead and coordinate regional HR initiatives related to transformation, digitalization, and change management.

People Development & Talent Management

  • Design and implement training plans, succession planning, and talent review processes.
  • Drive the development of local talents and foster internal mobility across countries.
  • Lead employer branding and recruitment strategies adapted to each market.

Employee & Labor Relations

  • Ensure legal compliance and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Oversee labor relations and act as key interlocutor with employee representative bodies (IRP).
  • Lead social dialogue and anticipate workforce-related risks and opportunities.

Operational HR Management

  • Support operational managers on a daily basis in workforce management, disciplinary matters, and team development.
  • Manage local HR teams in each country, promoting coordination, autonomy, and excellence.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent HR reporting and performance tracking.

Profile & Competencies

Education & Experience

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 10–15 years’ experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in the logistics, transport, or industrial sectors.
  • Solid experience in managing multi-country and multi-site HR operations, including labor relations.

Key Competencies

  • Strong ability to advise, support, and influence operational management.
  • Hands-on, field-oriented, and pragmatic approach to HR.
  • High level of integrity, trust-building skills, and ability to foster a positive work environment.
  • Proven capacity to operate in matrix organizations and complex environments.
  • Fluent English is essential.
