We are seeking a hospitality operations expert who can motivate and lead a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences across diverse Sonder locations, which offer hotel-like services.

The Market / Regional Director, Sales is responsible for overseeing sales strategies, developing local growth initiatives, and managing team and client relationships in Italy. The role involves industry engagement, community involvement, and ensuring Sonder's position as a key supplier in the market.

On-property hotel experience is essential

The Opportunity:

  • Identify prospects to increase revenue in the market.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with accounts and partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and develop marketing strategies to drive performance.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients through visits, events, and inspections.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management and City Teams to meet booking needs.

Who we look for:

  • Proven sales success in hospitality, with on-property hotel experience.
  • Regional experience in Italy is required.
  • Innovative, self-motivated, with business acumen and a track record of building sales strategies.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality sales, reservations, and distribution processes.
  • Organized, communicative, financially savvy, and adaptable.
