STACK Infrastructure is seeking a Regional Design Manager in Milan to lead end-to-end design management for data centre developments in the region. You will coordinate internal teams, consultants, contractors and hyperscale clients to ensure designs stay aligned with STACK standards, governance and cost/programme expectations.

Competenze

• 7–12 years of experience in data centre design or similar large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, electrical topologies and cooling strategies.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams and stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Act as regional owner of full design lifecycle across active and pipeline projects.
• Maintain alignment with STACK design governance and standards.
• Lead early-stage design during land acquisition and pre-investment cycles.
• Coordinate design activities, reviews, VE sessions and stage-gate approvals.
• Ensure consultant deliverables meet quality, budget and programme.
• Identify and mitigate design risks across disciplines (MEP, civil, structural, architectural).
• Interface with Development, Delivery, Procurement, Sales, Commercial and Ops teams.
• Support client technical workshops and design customization discussions.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams and vendors.
• Ensure cross-discipline coordination to minimise clashes and RFIs.
• Oversee long-lead OFCI equipment integration (generators, UPS, chillers, EPODs).
• Work with scheduling and commercial to align design programmes and CapEx.
• Track design-related risks, constraints and permitting challenges.
• Mentor junior design management colleagues; promote best practices.
• Represent STACK at sites and design reviews; travel as needed.
