Regional Corporate Chef - Italy North West

Description

The Regional Corporate Chef is responsible for executing local product and application training, including start-up training for new employees. The role focuses on maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends in the Foodservice Industry and Culinary arts, contributing to the development of RATIONAL demo formats in collaboration with the National Corporate Chef. Ensuring quality through audits, coaching, and training is essential. The position requires teamwork and strong collaboration with the National Corporate Chef, Regional Sales Managers, Freelancers, and Marketing.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct local product and application trainings, including start-up training for new employees.
  • Qualify and audit RATIONAL cooking events.
  • Support the NCC in developing the local sales team and managing the freelance network.
  • Organize exhibitions, including shows, menus, training, application staff, HACCP, food logistics, and back-office tasks.
  • Implement the RATIONAL Customer Lifecycle concept locally (Academy, Unit introduction, Culinary Schools, ConnectedCooking).
  • Create and execute application concepts for target groups.
  • Support local Key Account and Sales activities, collaborating with NCC on application support and development.
  • Work closely with the Service team to provide optimal support in the territory.
  • Consult on application questions via phone and in person.
  • Gather local application requirements and food trends, network with local chefs and industry influencers.
  • Ensure the highest quality of food in all events.
  • Develop local recipes for ConnectedCooking and manage relevant trainings for internal and external staff.
  • Maintain the quality standards of our Training Centers.
  • Continuously train and coach RATIONAL Freelance Chefs.

Practical Background

  • Experience as a sous- or executive chef.
  • Excellent culinary knowledge and kitchen skills.
  • Experience as a teacher in culinary schools is preferred.
  • Additional studies in business administration, nutritional science, or hospitality management are a plus.
  • Previous experience with RATIONAL units.
  • Experience working with partners and customers is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of customer needs.
  • Outstanding presentation skills and ability to conduct effective training.
  • Proficiency in Italian and English, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to travel, with a ratio of approximately 20% office work and 80% travel.
  • Valid driver's license.
