REGIONAL COOLING SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE Data Center Cooling

The Regional Cooling Service Representative is responsible for providing professional on-site services for cooling products produced by Schneider Electric to its customers, including commissioning, technical analysis, and issue resolution. The role primarily focuses on complex and critical projects, including troubleshooting and on-site support for Cooling Equipment & Systems (air cooling, air- or water-cooled chillers, CRAC/CRAH units).

Location & commitments: Slovakia or your home country (time spent offsite). Locations include Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Spain. Possibility to work remotely. Extensive international travel (70%) within Europe, mainly: Germany, France, BENELUX, Norden Europe, UK, and others (travel bonus provided). EU passport holder is mandatory.

Main responsibilities

1. Perform startup & commissioning on all cooling equipment.
2. Evaluate installation quality and system operational conditions.
3. Perform onsite adjustments for optimal operation.
4. Identify failure causes related to quality, software, or operation.
5. Collaborate with other service engineers & partners during interventions.
6. Document and manage defective parts properly.
7. Train customers on basic equipment operations.
8. Perform preventive & corrective maintenance.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of HVAC principles, especially cooling, and basic electrical knowledge.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical and procedural documents.
• Strong problem-solving skills and multitasking ability.
• Willingness to travel extensively (70%), EU passport required.

Education & Experience

• University degree in Mechanical or Electrotechnical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commissioning or field repair of HVAC or cooling equipment.
• Confirmed experience with cooling solutions and equipment.
• Experience with precision cooling is an advantage.
• Fluent English communication (B2+ level minimum).
• Additional qualities: flexibility, reliability, customer focus, team spirit, leadership skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
