Principali compiti e responsabilità
Communication officer for AVSI LEBANON :
- Develops a communication and visibility plan for each new project, taking into account the budget and narrative defined during the writing phase, in compliance with donor’s requirements.
- Monitors the implementation of the activities on the projects ongoing outlined in the communication plan, providing regular updates to HQ.
- Updates Dynamics in the communication section relating to ongoing projects in the country.
- Coordinates / produces visual content (photos, videos, graphics) according the quality standard of AVSI communications guide lines.
- Supervises external consultants and suppliers involved in the production of reportage, photo, video, and graphic materials ensuring compliance with AVSI’s ethical and visual standards.
- Writes posts for AVSI MENA social media channels.
- Supports events organization.
- Attends regional communication meetings.
- Monitors media coverage in the country, reporting on articles published about AVSI, and coordinates with HQ to organize press trips for national and international journalists.
Regional Communication Advisor for AVSI MENA :
- Acts as liaison between HQ, Region and country offices for consistent communication to promote AVSI’s brand and positioning.
- Develop and implement an editorial plan for the MENA region, including content for local social media channels, AVSI headquarters platforms and news for AVSI website.
- Coordinate local Communication Officers where available, or directly produce content where not available.
- Writes communication plan and related budgets for new projects in coordination with the HQ.
- Monitors the implementation of the communication activities on the projects ongoing outlined in the communication plan, providing regular updates to HQ.
- Updates Dynamics in the communication section relating to ongoing projects in the region.
- Monitors media coverage in the country, reporting on articles published about AVSI, and coordinates with HQ to organize press trips for national and international journalists.
- Oversees the collection and analysis of social media performance data, ensuring regular monitoring and reporting to HQ.
- Supports and harmonizes visual production across the MENA region, providing guide and feedback to consultant or teams, to ensure brand consistency and high-quality photo / video / graphic materials.
- Develops regional communication tools for the MENA staff.
- Reviews and aligns MEAL documents with communication guidelines.
- Tracks relevant conferences, workshops, and media opportunities in the Region.
- Update regularly INTRANET – MENA HUB.
Requisiti essenziali
- 5+ years' of experience in communications role, at least 1 year in a managerial position
- Experience with INGOS and donors requirements is a plus
- Proficiency in social media channels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English and French. Italian is a plus
Competenze ed esperienze richieste
- Experience with WordPress is a plus
- Availability to travel regularly within Lebanon and MENA region
