Neuraxpharm is looking for a Regional Access Manager based in Italy. This role is essential for ensuring patient access to medical therapies by building relationships with payers and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a scientific or economic degree, at least 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical company, and proficiency in communication and networking skills. The position requires 100% travel availability and offers opportunities for professional development in a diverse workplace.

Regional Access Manager (RAM)

Neuraxpharm is looking for a Regional Access Manager based in Lombardia, Triveneto or Emilia Romagna, Italy.

Mission

The role reports to the Head of Market Access and is pivotal to ensure patient access to necessary medical therapies while building a positive reputation for the company within the payers community in the assigned territory.

Major Accountabilities
  • Drive development of access strategy in the assigned territory, considering both national access policies and differentiated access environments at regional and local levels, to maximize business potential through market access.
  • Build, maintain & develop strong & solid relationships with decision‑makers, regional & local payors, pharmacists, KOLs, institutional & political experts and all relevant stakeholders influencing long‑term success of the portfolio.
  • Accelerate time to market and time to access, supporting launch and entry of the portfolio into regional, local and hospital formularies, optimizing pricing and positioning versus competitors and increasing company reputation.
  • Provide economic and institutional insights and feedback to support the development of market‑access strategies, product launch plans and economic materials.
  • Lead pharmacoeconomic and value‑based communication at local and regional level, collaborating with specialists & key account managers regarding pharmacists interaction.
  • Manage patient journey communication and product positioning at payer level.
  • Collaborate directly with local public authorities as per company guidelines.
  • Act as a valuable team player, partnering with field team members (MSLs & representatives / KAMs) and central departments to share relevant information, dynamics, strategies, and solutions to reach company goals.
  • Attend trainings, courses and conferences for continuous professional development.
  • Operate in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including ethical guidelines of interactions with professionals.
Qualifications
  • Scientific or economic degree.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role in a pharmaceutical company with a hospital portfolio, with an existing network with payors and institutional stakeholders at local and regional level.
  • Experience with new product launches and company positioning in local and regional government affairs.
  • Experience in medical devices and rare diseases is a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of central & local access dynamics, with proven ability to identify, analyse and overcome access barriers.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively as a strong team member of cross‑functional teams.
  • Top‑knock written & verbal communication skills and networking skills (internal & external).
  • Proficiency with Office 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Availability to travel up to 100 %.
  • Italian required; English is a plus.
