Competenze

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in refrigeration, ammonia, electrical, or HVAC.
• Willing to obtain OSHA Level A Hazmat Certification within 90 days.
• Willing to attain RETA (CIRO) Certification within 1 year.

Refrigeration Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift

Position Overview : This onsite role in San Lorenzo, CA, involves logging time and materials into a computerized maintenance management system, communicating system operation and maintenance information, and supporting refrigeration and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain cleanliness of refrigeration machine rooms and related areas daily.
• Interpret plans, schematics, and manuals for systems overseen.
• Assist in developing standard operating procedures, work schedules, and duty cycles.
• Manage outside contractors for service, repair, and new contracts.
• Support building and material handling equipment maintenance teams.
• Assist with general repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
• Work in temperatures of 35°F or below; lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly.
• Walk and stand on cement floors; follow verbal and written instructions.
• Possess basic math and computer skills.
• Read and understand product specifications; demonstrate mechanical knowledge and leadership skills.
• Willing to obtain OSHA Level A Hazmat Certification and Incident Command Training within 90 days.
• Willing to attain RETA (CIRO) Certification within 1 year.

Minimum Requirements :

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in refrigeration, ammonia, electrical, or HVAC.
• Associate degree in relevant fields preferred; certifications like RETA, CARO, FCF are a plus.
