Samuel Knight International is seeking a skilled Control Room Operator in Rome, Italy to support the Operations Supervisor in safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. You will monitor assets, respond to alarms, and ensure compliance with contracts and regulations while optimizing revenue and fleet value.

The role requires deep knowledge of power plant processes, SCADA systems, and experience in high-pressure environments. Fluent Italian and English are essential, with French a plus.

Competenze

• 6+ years of experience in power plant operations.
• Strong knowledge of plant processes, electrical systems, and SCADA.
• Ability to analyze equipment performance and resolve issues.

Mansioni

• Monitor and operate a wide range of generating assets using multiple platforms.
• Evaluate operating conditions against regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Support O&M compliance during equipment changes and safeguard Owner interests.
• Identify high-priority alarms and provide risk mitigation recommendations.
• Operate multiple control systems and predict grid responses to actions.
• Initiate and document alarm response plans with required notifications.
• Conduct root-cause analysis using historical data and classify outages.
• Collaborate with maintenance to balance obligations and revenue optimization.
• Maintain operator log of outages, alarms, and regulatory interactions.
• Provide contractually required notifications of equipment failures and performance issues.
