Overview

The candidate shall support the Real Estate Team Senior Team members in all aspects of activity including real estate and portfolio analysis, management, reporting and administration.

Responsibilities

• Work as a Real Estate Junior Asset Manager within the Real Estate Team specializing in implementing the agreed value maximization for various asset classes real estate owned by our clients.
• Independently develop and implement asset management strategy reviews, including hold/sell models.
• Utilize advanced financial modeling techniques to evaluate various scenarios and their potential impact on recovery strategies.
• Proactively coordinate external providers on behalf of your line manager, aligned with the approved strategy.
• Regularly review and adjust models based on market dynamics and performance metrics to maintain accuracy and relevance.
• Review and update monthly operating budgets.
• Prepare and update internal models and memos.
• Review external appraisal reports and provide qualitative and quantitative analysis on their contents.
• Participate in the preparation of the real estate business plans and quarterly reporting documents for separate assets.
• Update and prepare mark to market models and capital commitment schedules.
• Understand various Real Estate related documentation and prepare Excel models.
• Analysis of potential acquisitions on behalf of REOCOs or REIFs.

Qualifications

The candidate must have excellent organisational and numerical skills, at least 24 months experience in the financial and/or real estate sector.

Additionally:

• Proficiency in Italian (C2 CEFR) and fluency in English (B2/C1 CEFR).
• Strong educational background, accounting or real estate working experience.
• Proficient in Excel and Power Point.
• Exposure to financial modelling and discounted cash flow analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Well-developed quantitative and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Understanding of Real Estate valuation concepts highly desirable.
