Interested in contributing to real estate projects from the ground up? As a Real Estate Development Manager, you’ll support the full lifecycle of real estate assets, including evaluation, acquisition, development, and management, across currently two locations in Italy—Emilia Romagna and Piedmont—and future sites. This role will work closely with the investment, finance, and development teams to provide financial modeling, market research, and strategic insights that drive key real estate decisions.

What you will do :

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling for potential acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects
  • Prepare investment memoranda, pitch decks, and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for market research, performance analysis, including tracking real estate trends, demographic data, and economic indicators
  • Assist in underwriting deals by analyzing cash flows, returns (IRR, ROI, NPV), and risk assessments
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors (brokers, appraisers, consultants) for data gathering and due diligence
  • Maintain and update real estate databases, comparables, and pipeline tracking
  • Support asset management teams by monitoring portfolio performance, lease data, and capital expenditure
  • Participate in site visits, due diligence efforts, and transaction closings as needed
  • Coordinate construction phases: consultant scouting, tender management, site monitoring, and management

Who are we looking for :

  • Bachelor’s degree or background in Real Estate, Architecture, Building Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in real estate, investment, or construction project management
  • Flexibility and availability for weekly trips between Emilia Romagna and Piedmont, Italy
  • Good knowledge of construction, regulation, urban planning, and market analysis
  • PMI or related project management certification (preferred)
  • Strong financial modeling skills in Excel; familiarity with Argus, CoStar, Yardi, or similar tools
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Exposure to specific real estate segments (e.g., multifamily, industrial, commercial, hospitality)
  • Understanding of real estate valuation methods and market dynamics
  • Familiarity with GIS tools or mapping software (a plus)
  • Proficiency in English (medium-high level)
  • Competency in AutoCAD, Excel, Project/Primavera, PowerPoint, InDesign, Photoshop
