Role |

We are looking for a Real Estate Business Development Specialist to join our launch team in Milan. This role is crucial for establishing Ukio in Italy, focusing on building a network of large residential real estate companies, property developers, family offices, institutional owners, and independent landlords.

You will help elevate our business, focusing on acquiring new properties—individual units or entire buildings—and developing relationships with investment funds and investors, fostering a strong reputation for Ukio in the industry.

As a startup with a unique culture, you will have a high degree of autonomy and will face various challenges and opportunities.

Responsibilities |

  • Build a pipeline of apartments meeting Ukio’s standards.
  • Develop a network of real estate companies, developers, family offices, and landlords.
  • Negotiate long-term leases for high-quality apartments in Milan.
  • Manage relationships with property owners within the Ukio network.
  • Identify and develop a shortlist of suitable buildings.
  • Secure multi-unit deals of high-quality apartments.
  • Enhance Ukio’s reputation in the sector.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve landlord inquiries, challenges, and contracts.
  • Maintain standards and communication with all stakeholders in Milan.
  • Prepare reports by analyzing and summarizing data.

About you |

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in residential real estate or property development in Milan.
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of the Milan real estate market and have an extensive local network.
  • You have a proven track record managing complex legal residential leases.
  • You are a skilled negotiator and relationship manager.
  • You have a history of exceeding sales targets.
  • You have excellent communication skills in both Italian and English.
  • You are flexible, resilient, and comfortable with ambiguity and change.
  • You are confident working in cross-functional teams.
  • You thrive in a start-up environment.
