RAW MATERIALS BUYER

The Raw Materials Buyer reports to the Group Procurement Manager and is responsible for ensuring the strategic procurement of raw materials (chemicals) in alignment with business objectives and priorities.

Main tasks and responsibilities

1. Manage relationships with the Group’s strategic suppliers for raw materials;
2. Negotiate commercial terms and secure supply agreements;
3. Monitor supply market trends and macroeconomic indicators to anticipate risks and identify opportunities;
4. Collect and update supplier pricelists within the ERP system in a timely manner;
5. Identify synergies across the Group and drive supplier rationalization initiatives to optimize the supply base through volume consolidation;
6. Scout, assess, and qualify new suppliers in line with internal and external requirements, involving the R&D department as needed;
7. Collaborate with the local Purchasing departments to ensure successful supplier onboarding;
8. Address material shortages by identifying alternative sources and resolving relevant supplier issues;
9. Support the digitalization of procurement processes.

Education and experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or a related field;
2. A chemical background is highly preferred;
3. At least 2-3 years’ experience in sourcing raw materials and/or components;
4. Experience in sourcing raw materials is preferred;

Benefits and Salary:

1. Gross Salary from 33.000,00 €;
2. Annual production bonus;
3. 14th monthly payments;
4. Possibility of working from home 2 days a week;
