Job Description:

The Position Based in Italy, the Footwear Production and Raw Materials Manager is responsible for planning footwear production, from pre-purchasing raw materials and reserving capacity with manufacturers to delivering finished products to the logistics center in Spain.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with the industrial team to plan and schedule the production based on the conformity process validation.
  2. Involved in problem-solving, drawing on the skills and expertise of internal and external players, including manufacturers.
  3. Coordinate the purchasing and sourcing of components & raw materials from suppliers with the shoe manufacturers.
  4. Support production team in managing quality, compliance with Loewe specifications, and compliance with international regulations of purchased materials in collaboration with the development team and the quality team.
  5. Be involved in the pre-purchase and risk purchasing processes to ensure the time to market.

Qualifications:

  1. 5 years of experience in Footwear, within a Brand or manufacturer with a significantly developed structure and efficient organization.
  2. Technical or business management background preferred, with 4 years in Production or industrialization or supply chain management.
  3. Willing to build something of his / her own, setting up and animating quality processes and procedures including KPIs management.
  4. Drive improvement plans with internal and external partners.
  5. Leadership and excellent communication skills.
  6. Academic Background: Engineering, science degree, or business administration degree. Other education profiles may be considered depending on the background of the candidate.
  7. Languages required: Italian mother tongue or bilingual. English, fluent C1, mandatory and proven. French is a plus.
  8. IT systems mindset. ERP, Portal & TMS.
  9. Developed analytical and Excel skills, knowledge of PowerBi and Office 365 tools, and used to working with large data sheets and dashboard management.
