Business / Brokerage

Aurel Partners operates an Agency model adding value to the client base by providing excellent execution capabilities, top-down macro thematic risk, and tactical services across all asset classes to institutional investors. The role is within the Cross-Asset Sales team, focusing on rates products including G10 and EM rates, such as cleared swaps, inflation, nominal and linker bonds.

Aurel is focused on building deep client relationships, partnering with clients to execute their product interests with anonymous execution. This role offers significant potential for career growth, education, and remuneration within an established team operating in the macro environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Rate Sales within the Cross Asset Sales Group at Aurel Partners.
  • Role based in New York.
  • Salary / commission-based role, focusing on individual and team production.
  • Working in a small but growing team with experienced professionals from sell side sales, broking, and trading backgrounds.
  • Generating timely and executable rate trade ideas.
  • Assisting in onboarding client accounts across macro products.
  • Improving existing processes across the Macro desk, contributing to technological and revenue generation enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably sell side, with proficiency in macro financial products such as Interest Rate Swaps, ASW, Inflation swaps, Bonds, and Listed rate derivatives.
  • Established strong client relationships focused on rates.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
