This position is in the Strategic Competence Unit (SCU) within the Solution Area Cognitive Network Solutions in Ericsson. The SCU is a highly qualified and global service delivery expertise group located in a few countries. You will be part of the team working with the latest technology (i.e., 5G, ML / AI, Cloud-RAN) and involved in projects with diverse customers worldwide, mainly remotely.

In this role, you will grow to become an expert and a go-to person in the field of Network Design and Optimization!

What you will do

1. Support the delivery of services in RAN Network Design and Optimization (NDO), including technical presentations and customer proposals
2. Develop your technical competence and soft skills as a team member
3. Participate in knowledge sharing activities
4. Provide ideas and suggestions to Product Management to improve the NDO portfolio and offerings

You will bring

The successful applicant must be passionate about network technology, with strong technical skills and experience in radio network design and optimization.

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, or IT
• Minimum 5 years of experience in radio access network design and optimization, working with PM events, statistics, CM, RAN features, and parameters; providing analysis and recommendations
• NDO experience in 5G
• Programming/scripting skills (e.g., Python) are an advantage
• Additional requirements:
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse team in fast-paced environments
• Self-motivated, proactive, able to work under pressure and learn independently with team support
• Result-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction and project delivery
• Good communication skills; proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Position based in Milano / Roma, Italy. Ability to travel globally as required
