Job Description:

The RAN Analysis, Troubleshooting and Terminals Senior Engineer, part of the Mobile Access Engineering team within NSE Network Strategy, Architecture & Engineering, is responsible for providing tested and verified device implementations and solutions to ensure optimal customer experience in Vodafone networks. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the end-to-end introduction and troubleshooting of Mobile Services in Vodafone markets, focusing on terminal implementation and network-terminal interactions.
• Validating device implementations to optimize performance, including defining initial parameters and specifications for Vodafone variant devices tailored to market needs.
• Managing and troubleshooting technical performance issues and customer complaints throughout the device lifecycle, in compliance with global and local requirements.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders across various departments to meet commercial demands and evolve the terminal device roadmap.
• Supporting the ecosystem, tools, and procedures to adapt to technological and business changes, promoting automation and best practice sharing.

Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership:

• Supporting end-to-end Mobile Service deployment with emphasis on terminal implementation and network interactions.
• Resolving technical issues and customer complaints.
• Prototyping, parameterization, development, testing, and validation of new technologies, features, and services from the terminal perspective.
• Ensuring the delivery of high-performance, qualified terminal devices aligned with evolving business and technological needs.
• Sharing best practices and maintaining stakeholder alignment.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Successful launch of mobile end-to-end services as per plans and Vodafone strategy.
• Customer satisfaction (NPS) and network KPIs aligned with Vodafone ambitions.
• Vodafone's leadership position in mobile benchmarking frameworks.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience:

• Extensive knowledge of mobile access technologies (2G, 4G, 5G, IMS), network architecture, and standards (3GPP, GCF).
• Deep understanding of mobile end-to-end services for both consumer and enterprise segments.
• Expertise in network performance KPIs and optimization techniques.
• Strong skills in testing, troubleshooting, and data analysis tools.
• Proven stakeholder management skills in complex projects with tight deadlines.

Must-Have Technical/Professional Qualifications:

• Motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working in multicultural environments with strong project management skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or similar.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in mobile telecommunications engineering (radio, core, devices, quality, services), preferably internationally.
