RINA is seeking a Railway RAMS Engineer to enhance the reliability and safety of transportation systems. This role involves implementing RAMS processes, conducting analyses, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project compliance with safety standards. A Master's degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering is required, along with proficiency in RAMS analysis techniques.
RINA is currently recruiting for a Railway RAMS Engineer to join its office in ROME, GENOA, NAPLES OR MILAN within the Electronics and Systems Engineering Division.
Mission
The RAMS Engineer focuses on contributing to the reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety of transportation systems. You will support the implementation of RAMS processes, data analysis, and collaboration with project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Education
Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electronic/TLC Engineering.
Qualifications
Proficiency in RAMS analysis techniques such as FMEA, FTA, ETA, and RBD. Knowledge of standards like EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129, IEC 61508, and relevant safety certification requirements. Experience with risk and safety assessment tools like hazard logs, risk matrices, ALARP principles, and SIL assessments. Familiarity with software tools such as ReliaSoft, RAM Commander, MATLAB, Simulink, and FRACAS.
