Wabtec Corporation is seeking a System Engineer in Piemonte, Italy to design and integrate onboard Passenger Information Systems, Audio/PA and Video systems for rail vehicles. You will own system behavior, interfaces, network architecture and product performance across the lifecycle, guiding colleagues and shaping the product roadmap.

You will collaborate with an international team and report to the Systems Engineering Manager, while benefiting from 2 days of smart working per week and growth

Competenze

• Background in electronics, embedded systems, or mechatronics.
• 6+ years of experience in system engineering or networked systems, embedded devices or system integration.
• Familiarity with audio systems, wiring diagrams, or electrical interfaces.
• Interest in cybersecurity and system design principles.
• Italian and English proficiency; German a plus.
• Mobility/railway or automotive experience is a plus.
• Strong problem solving skills and proactive ownership.
• Excellent communication abilities.

Mansioni

• You develop system-level specifications, interfaces and architectures, ensuring all components work together reliably.
• You support System Project Engineers with technical insights and help manage complexity.
• You identify improvements and contribute to the product roadmap with a hands-on mindset.
