We are looking for aRail Software Product professional, to be hired with a permanent contract in Rome within the IT Center Of Competence Optimization area.

Your Challenge

As aRail Software Product professional, you will report directly to the international Product Owner and apply your expertise in innovative software products. You will lay the foundation for implementing sophisticated railway software solutions, supporting the Product Manager throughout the product lifecycle, from requirements gathering, analysis, implementation, testing, to change management.

Your main tasks include:
  • Defining functional and non-functional requirements with stakeholders.
  • Conducting analysis workshops internally and with customers.
  • Ensuring requirements are complete and understandable.
  • Monitoring requirement changes and their impact on projects.
  • Tracking all requirements, changes, and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintaining clarity of requirements and managing change processes.
  • Creating and presenting product demonstrations at various events.
  • Conducting market research to understand user needs and trends.
  • Supporting the Product Manager in developing the product roadmap.
  • Ensuring product quality through testing and feedback.

To be a perfect fit for this role, you should have:

  • Studies in railway traffic sciences or a comparable qualification.
  • 5-7 years of experience in railway operations or planning.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Confluence, Jira).
  • Knowledge of requirement engineering tools (e.g., Polarion).
  • Experience in requirements documentation and specifications.
  • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent English communication skills and stakeholder management.
  • A passion for continuous growth.
  • Respect for diversity, willingness to co-create, and knowledge sharing.
  • Proficiency in English and eligibility to work in Italy.
