Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a Process Engineer in Italy to support the development, industrialization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. You will ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance, and play a key role in new product and process implementation and change management.

You will transfer products from development to production, define manufacturing processes, and collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Production teams to ensure readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, or related).
• Experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, industrialization, or continuous improvement environments.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, and CAPA is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support transfer of new products and processes from development to production.
• Define and validate manufacturing processes, including process parameters and work cycles.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Production teams for product launches and manufacturing readiness.
• Prepare and/or support release of technical documentation (work instructions, PFMEA, Control Plans).
• Lead process and product validation activities.
