Job summary

Hitachi Rail S.p.A. in Italy seeks an experienced SITE MANAGER to lead on-site maintenance and retrofit activities for rail vehicles. The role combines administrative duties with strategic oversight, based in Bolzano e Trento IT.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of maintenance management experience in rail, Italian proficiency, and ANSF certifications, with a Technical High School diploma. The position offers a competitive gross annual salary in the €36,000–€46,000 range.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of maintenance management experience, preferably in rail.
• ANSF certifications (COCS 30) to work on rail safety organs.
• High school diploma, preferably Technical Expert (Mechanical, Electrical, or IT).
• Italian language proficiency mandatory; basic English considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site activities with Team Leader and service/retrofit maintenance.
• Manage documentation and proper use of tools and equipment for service tasks.
• Ensure safety of maintenance locations and report any non-conformities.
• Lead shift resources (6/7 h16) to promote skills and teamwork.
