Job summary

Hitachi Rail S.p.A. is seeking a capable Site Manager in Italy to lead on-site maintenance and retrofit activities for rail vehicles. The role covers administrative to strategic tasks, based in Bolzano e Trento, IT, and requires five years of maintenance leadership experience and rail industry familiarity.

It offers an aggressive annual salary of 36,000–46,000 EUR, with an emphasis on safety, teamwork, and process improvement. Proficiency in Italian and basic English are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience (at least 5 years) in performing and managing maintenance activities, preferably in the railroad industry.
• ANSF certifications - National Railway Safety Agency (COCS 30) to work on train safety organs (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordination of Team leader on site and coordination of service/retrofit activities related to rail vehicle maintenance, resources in the execution of Maintenance activities, with a view to continuous cost/time/quality improvement.
• Managing the documentation related to ongoing maintenance, the correct flow of use of specific tools and equipment for the performance of Service activities.
• Ensure the safety of maintenance locations by promoting compliance with current procedures, taking care to report any “non-conformities” to their supervisors.
• Support the enhancement of skills and teamwork by leading the resources on their shift (6/7 h16).
