Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Radiology Technologist to join our Urgent Care team. You will operate diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain quality digital images for physician interpretation.

The role requires graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, CPR and ARRT registration, and bone density certification or eligibility. 1–2 years of experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology or equivalent.
• CPR certification and ARRT registration; for bone density, ISCD certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for procedures utilizing aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Positions patients for radiologic examination.
• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures with ionizing radiation to produce digitized images.
• May operate diagnostic bone density equipment.
• Directly enters medication, laboratory, and radiology orders into the EMR.

Hours of Operation:

M-F, 12pm-8pm
Sat/Sun, 8am-4pm

Urgent Care offers shift differentials for all shifts:

$2.00 per hour during regular business hours
$4.00 per hour after 5pm and weekends

Radiology Technologist within Urgent Care!

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Radiology Technologist to join our Urgent Care team. In this role, you will operate diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain quality digital images of designated body positions for interpretation by physicians.

What You'll Do:

• Prepares patients for procedures utilizing aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Positions patients for radiologic examination.
• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures through the application of ionizing radiation to produce digitized images.
• May operate diagnostic bone density equipment
• Directly enters medication, laboratory, and/or radiology orders into the electronic medical record system.

What We're Looking For:

• EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience. For those obtaining Bone Density images, graduation from an accredited school of clinical densitometry technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: Valid CPR certification. Valid registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. For those obtaining Bone Density images, valid certification by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry or ability to become certified within 90 days of hire.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years’ prior experience helpful, but not required.
