Bolton invites applications for an R&D Testing & Consumer Insights Specialist in Calenzano to support marketing and R&D in claims development, performance testing, and clinical trials coordination. You will liaise with external institutes, manage test samples, and interpret results within a cross-functional R&D team.

The role requires a chemistry background with 2–3 years of relevant experience, fluency in English and Italian, and a flexible smart-working arrangement.

We are looking for a Testing & Consumer Insights Specialist to join our Research and Development team in our Beauty & Personal Care business unit based in Calenzano.

How you make the difference

This position is crucial for Bolton because R&D team has the ownership to boost innovations and to contribute to develop a competitive position in the market.

How your agenda looks like:

• Support marketing and R&D in creating claims and identifying the most suitable performance tests to support them
• Contact external institutes to design and conduct clinical trials, both for performance and safety
• Coordinate the production and shipping of test samples
• Interpret clinical results, identifying the most effective options
• Analyze clinical claims for competing products
• Manage the clinical trial budget.
• Archive clinical protocols in the most accurate and usable manner.

Your team:

You will collaborate with R&D Personal Care team and you will be supported by your Manager, Testing & Consumer Insights Manager.

What makes you a great fit:

• Education: bachelor in Chemistry or similar
• Work Experience: 2/3years in a similar role
• Soft skills: innovation, proactivity, curiosity, initiative and a propensity for goals achievement; team building; critical interpretation of experimental results; the ability to organize the job activities in a methodical and rigorous way and to interface with other functions within the R&D department and with other teams; the competence to manage storage and timely reporting of experimental data.
• Local language: good knowledge of English proficient in Italian and English.
