Meet Life Sciences is seeking a senior specialist in Long-Term Planning & Resource Management in Lombardia. You will develop quantitative projections for the R&D pipeline, forecast workloads, and support headcount planning aligned with strategic priorities.

You will collaborate with Global PMs, Finance and Strategy teams to ensure consistency between cost projections and strategic investments, while maintaining Planisware and BI tooling for reporting.

Competenze

• Degree in Management Engineering, Business Economics, Business Administration, Pharmaceutical Development or related discipline.
• MBA or significant industry experience acceptable in lieu of a degree in some cases.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or biotech R&D, Product Innovation, Portfolio Management, R&D Planning or related function.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical development processes, project management, portfolio management and performance management.
• Proven experience in R&D strategy, portfolio planning, resource management or business planning in pharma/biotech.
• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, with forecasting, modelling and scenario analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence with complex datasets and models.
• Experience with Planisware, SAP and ERP systems; Power BI or BI tools.
• Knowledge of data analytics and digital transformation opportunities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across R&D, Finance, Strategy and other functions.
• Strategic, commercially minded with focus on value creation and efficiency.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex, international and fast-paced environment.
• Experience with AI, ML or advanced analytics would be an advantage.

Mansioni

• Develop quantitative projections for the R&D pipeline including costs and resource needs.
• Collaborate with Global Project Managers and key R&D stakeholders on workload forecasts.
• Support headcount and resource planning based on pipeline requirements.
• Align short- and long-term cost projections with PTRS assessments and opportunities.
• Maintain Planisware and BI reporting tools and ensure data integrity.
• Develop and refine R&D strategy and pipeline planning processes and tools.
• Provide data-driven insights for pipeline reviews and strategic decisions.
• Coordinate with Strategy and Franchise teams for portfolio prioritisation and investment decisions.
• Prepare standardized project business cases and project cards.
• Support senior R&D leadership in cross-functional portfolio and investment reviews.
