Hitachi ABB Power Grids is seeking a student or graduate in electrical engineering to join our R&D team for a 6-month internship in Monselice (PD). The role supports transformer design projects and tool improvements and may include thesis work.

The position requires a degree in electrical engineering, knowledge of FEM, programming is a plus, and excellent English skills. On-site work with a dynamic, collaborative R&D environment.

Competenze

• Degree in electrical engineering (or recognized equivalent).
• Programming experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical finite element simulation is a plus.
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office & Outlook.
• Good spoken and written English.

You will contribute and support the team to achieve successful results in Research & Development projects development for our Transformer Business Unit in Monselice (PD).

We are seeking a student or a graduate in the field of electrical engineering (or recognized equivalent) to join our R&D team for an internship. The internship, with expected duration of 6 months, can also have the purpose of developing a thesis.

Your background

• Degree in electrical engineering (or recognized equivalent).
• Power transformer technology knowledge will be considered a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical finite element simulation is a plus
• Programming experience is considered a plus
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office & Outlook. Programming experience is considered a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving analytical skills, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic R&D environment
• Good spoken and written English.
