Hiab is seeking a qualified engineer to join the R&D Control System team in Minerbio, Italy, to help establish a new organization aligned with international standards, handling challenging tasks and growth opportunities in an international work environment.

This position is based in Minerbio, Italy, and focuses on defining crane parameters, prototype development, testing, and collaboration with Tech Support to resolve control system issues, while supporting functional tests and assembly line

Competenze

• University degree required in engineering or related field.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and their limitations.
• Experience in electrical drawings creation.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Italian.

Mansioni

• Definition of parameter values for cranes (models, versions and new features).
• Support in the development of prototypes and product testing / validation activities.
• Collaborate with Tech. Support Dept. to solve issues regarding the control system setup of the cranes.
• Determination of the functional tests to be carried out participating in their monitoring and approval.
• Participate in problem root cause analysis and corrective / preventive action procedures.
• Give technical support to the assembly line.

Key responsibilities

• Definition of parameter values for cranes (models, versions and new features)
• Support in the development of prototypes and product testing / validation activities
• Collaborate with Tech. Support Dept. to solve issues regarding the control system setup of the cranes
• Determination of the functional tests to be carried out participating in their monitoring and approval
• Participate in problem root cause analysis and corrective / preventive action procedures
• Give technical support to the assembly line.

What we are looking for

• University degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering Technology or Industrial Design
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and their limitations
• Experience in electrical drawings creation
• Proficient in interacting with all functions within a business
• Knowledge of CAD systems and electronic and hydraulic systems would be an advantage
• Fluent written and spoken English and Italian.
