Job summary

ABB Bergamo seeks an electro-technical tester to join the Smart Power division. You will perform electrical testing on low-voltage circuit breakers and switchboards, configure transformers and variable loads, prepare the DUT with cables and busbars, and execute tests on-site in two shifts.

Analyze results per standards, create reports, propose improvements, and assist customers during testing. Fluency in Italian and English and a proactive problem-solving attitude are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in electrotechnical field or electrical engineering.
• Strong electrotechnical knowledge and ability to interpret results.
• Proficiency with MS Office and specialized test software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical testing on low-voltage circuit breakers and switchboards.
• Configure transformers and variable loads to achieve required test values.
• Prepare the Device Under Test (DUT) with cables and busbars and run tests.
• Analyze test results against applicable standards and document findings.
• Produce and develop test reports and propose improvements; support customers during testing.
