Job summary

ABB in Bergamo seeks an electrical test engineer to join the R&D Testing team. You will participate in electrical testing on low-voltage circuit breakers and switchboards, configuring transformers and loads to reach target values, wiring the DUT, and executing tests in a two-shift daily schedule.

You will analyze results against standards, prepare test reports, suggest improvements, and support customers during testing activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma in Electrotechnical field or Bachelor Degree in Electrical field.
• Highly skilled in Electrotechnical Knowledge.
• Able to demonstrate manual skills, analysis and interpretation of results.

Responsibilities

• Define test details, sequences, methods, equipment and instrumentation per standards; prepare test set-up and connect DUT; execute tests.
• Analyze test results to check compliance with applicable standards.
• Produce and develop test reports for tested equipment and issue reports.
• Propose improvements in testing techniques and equipment based on experience.
• Assist and support customers during testing activities.
