ABB Bergamo plant is seeking a skilled professional to contribute to R&D projects, developing mechanical prototypes and operating CNC machinery. You will work onsite in a workshop environment, ensuring quality and timely output for low voltage breakers.

The role emphasizes collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement within a dynamic team. Fluency in Italian with basic English (B1) is required, along with a five-year electromechanical diploma and 2–5 years of hands-on experience in CNC

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machining centers and industrial equipment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain low voltage breakers in the ABB Bergamo plant workshop.
• Operate CNC machines to convert raw materials into final products with quality control.
• Coordinate CNC resources for optimized timing, priority and prototyping quality.
• Perform standard machine maintenance, tools, and programming tasks.
• Propose safety, productivity and cost-saving ideas.

Main stakeholders are prototype machineries.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteIn this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:Working as a reliable contributor in R&D projectsDeveloping mechanical prototypes according to R&D instructions/procedures.Operates on CNC machines to convert raw materials or semi-finished parts for a final product at the right time and with the required quality.Operates machines in accordance with operating manual/work schedule/production under instructions.Cooperates in order to identifier the best scheduling of CNC resources in order to optimaze timing, priority and quality of prototipes.Undertakes standard maintenance, tools and programming to perform machine activities.
