A leading bank is looking for a skilled professional in its Credit Risk Unit to develop and implement credit risk measurement models. This role involves analyzing client creditworthiness, managing defaulted loans, and creating strategies to mitigate risk, ensuring compliance with banking regulations. Applicants should have a solid educational background in economics or similar fields and at least three years of relevant experience.
A key role within the Bank for the dissemination and recognition of risk culture.
You will join the Credit Risk Unit, which is responsible for designing and implementing credit risk measurement models and ensuring their proper use in compliance with prudential and accounting regulations as well as the Bank’s credit policies. Within the team, you will work on developing controls related to the creditworthiness of the Bank’s clients and the management of defaulted loans, analyzing and interpreting the results obtained, and preparing reports for governance bodies. Additionally, you will be involved in the development, monitoring, and review of credit parameters, actively seeking innovative solutions from both a technical and technological perspective. You will interact with the Origination teams to understand the nature of the risks you will be tasked with measuring.

Through its functions, the Risk department ensures the implementation of the process by which risk is identified, assessed, and measured, reported, and controlled. Subsequently, with the support of business units, the relevant strategies to manage / mitigate the risk are identified and developed, with the aim of implementing and aligning with the Group's Risk Appetite Framework.
