Job summary

COOLTECH srl, a company specialized in the production of components and systems for liquid cooling of electrical and electronic devices, is seeking a QUALITY & TECHNOLOGY ENGINEER. The role focuses on welding processes (Vacuum brazing, Friction Stir Welding and TIG) and supporting the TQM to ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) compliance with certification standards and market requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering is required.
• 5–15 years in a similar role in manufacturing/multinational contexts.
• Experience with welding, surface/heat treatments; contamination and corrosion issues.
• Experience selecting/applying destructive and non-destructive testing methods.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma.
• Good working knowledge of English.

Responsibilities

• Draft and maintain QMS procedures (QLP, IOQ) and QMS records.
• Analyze QMS data and manage customer NCs and communications.
• Supervise containment actions and disposition closures for NCs.
• Support SQE on supplier NCs; propose corrective actions and track documentation.
• Submit concession/deviation requests to customers.
• Assist TQM during audits and execute internal audits.
• Define supplier qualification plans focusing on tech and quality.
• Define inspection strategies with Technical Department/Metrology room.
• Oversee welding certification management and supplier incoming inspection.
• Lead metallographic lab ownership and development for VB/FSW.
